Features

Plums generally can have a globose to oval shape, and depending on their variety, the skin ranges from golden-yellow, dark purple or red. The flesh is generally yellow or red with a firm texture and juicy.

Mature plum fruit is usually of a medium size, with a smooth skin, and characteristically, with a waxy or dusty-white coating that gives them what is known as a “wax bloom”.
